CAA said it is currently focusing on roadside assistance for those who are stuck in unsafe conditions. At-home services have been temporarily suspended.

CAA Manitoba’s President, Tim Scott says Empress is a work in progress. “There’s over 15000 cars that go down here on average per day so that would count for a lot of the votes and a lot of the comments. It has improved in some areas but the south end of Empress is still very much a bit of a landmine,” Scott said.
